Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Clarity Partners ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information when you visit our website(s), use our mobile application(s), purchase or use the Purpose Blueprint, submit forms, or communicate with us (collectively, the "Services").
1. Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
Information you provide
- Contact details (name, email address)
- Form responses and intake information you submit, including date of birth, time of birth, and place of birth, which are used to generate your reports
- Messages you send to us (support emails, replies)
Information collected automatically
- Device, browser, and usage data (IP address, pages viewed, screen views, timestamps)
- Cookies and similar technologies (depending on your settings and our cookie tools)
- Mobile-specific: device identifiers (iOS Identifier for Vendor / Android install ID, never IDFA), Apple push notification tokens (Expo push tokens stored server-side and used only to deliver the notifications you opt into), application crash and performance data (via Sentry; aggregated and de-identified where possible)
- Product analytics: screen views, custom in-app events, and feature usage are recorded by PostHog under your account identifier with your email as a person property, so we can understand which features you actually use and improve them. You may opt out at any time by emailing support@purpose.guide.
Payment information
Payments are processed by third party payment processors. On the web we use Stripe; on iOS we use Apple In-App Purchase; on Android we will use Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your full payment card number. We may receive limited transaction details (subscription tier, status, period end, customer identifier, Apple original transaction identifier, payment status, amount) so we can grant the entitlements you paid for and renew them when your subscription auto-renews.
Subscription identifiers
When you subscribe through Apple In-App Purchase, we store your Apple original transaction identifier against your account so we can keep your subscription status in sync when Apple notifies us of renewals, cancellations, or refunds. We do not receive your Apple ID, real name, or payment method. When you subscribe through Stripe on the web, we store your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers for the same purpose.
2. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- deliver the Product, support, and customer service,
- process payments and prevent fraud,
- send transactional emails (receipts, delivery, account notices),
- send marketing emails if you opt in, and
- analyze site performance and improve the Services.
3. Legal bases (for visitors in the EU/UK, where applicable)
If you are located in the EU/UK, we process personal data under one or more legal bases, such as:
- performance of a contract (delivering the Product),
- legitimate interests (improving and securing our Services), and
- consent (for optional marketing emails, and certain cookies).
4. How we share information
We may share personal information with:
- service providers who help run the Services (website hosting, email delivery, analytics, payment processing),
- professional advisors (legal, accounting) as needed, and
- authorities if required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
We do not sell your personal information in the ordinary sense. If we ever engage in "selling" or "sharing" as defined by certain laws, we will update this policy and provide required opt out mechanisms.
5. Cookies and analytics
We may use cookies and analytics tools to understand usage and improve the Services. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and through any cookie banner we provide where required.
5b. AI synthesis and model training
The Product uses third-party large language models (currently Anthropic Claude) as a synthesis layer that reads your blueprint inputs at generation time to produce your reports. Your data is not used to train any model. Ours, our providers', or anyone else's.
Specifically:
- your intake answers, blueprint, reflections, dynamic reports, coach reviews, and any refinement feedback you submit are not sent to any provider for fine-tuning, embedding, or future training,
- we use providers under enterprise terms that exclude customer prompts and outputs from being used to train or improve the underlying models,
- provider zero-retention policies are honored where available. Content sent for synthesis is not retained beyond what's needed to return the response, and
- no telemetry from your use of the Product (which cards you opened, what you refined, what you marked as a signal) is shared with model providers.
If we ever change this. For example, if a future product feature would benefit from opt-in fine-tuning on your own data alone. We will update this policy and require explicit consent before any such use.
6. Email communications
We send transactional emails related to purchases and delivery. If you opt in to marketing emails, you can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails.
7. Data retention
We retain personal information as long as reasonably necessary to:
- provide the Services,
- maintain business records (such as transactions),
- comply with legal obligations, and
- resolve disputes and enforce agreements.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100 percent secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights such as:
- access to the personal information we hold about you,
- correction of inaccurate information,
- deletion of certain information,
- objection or restriction of certain processing, and
- opting out of certain disclosures or marketing.
California residents: You may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, and we will respond to verifiable consumer requests as required.
Deleting your account
You can permanently delete your account at any time. On the mobile app, open your Profile → Danger zone → Delete account. On the web, open your Profile → Delete account. Deleting your account removes your profile, intake responses, generated reports, planning sessions, connections, push tokens, and analytics identifier from our systems. Subscription billing is separate. You can cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings (iOS) or your billing portal (web) before deleting your account, and Apple or Stripe will handle any remaining refunds according to their own policies.
What we do not do: We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your inputs (intake responses, reports, reflections, refinement feedback) to train or fine-tune any AI model. See §5b for details.
10. Children's privacy
The Services are not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided us personal information, contact us to request deletion.
11. International transfers
If you access the Services from outside the country where we operate, your information may be processed and stored in countries with different data protection laws.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date indicates when changes were made.
